Volunteering at the Lords Pantry

Throughout the fall and winter of 2024, I have been volunteering at Downingtown's Lord Pantry. Their goal is to provide meals for people in Downingtown who are unable to afford food. When I go to volunteer on Thursdays (5:30-7:30), my job is to bring the shopping carts out with food, and put the food in our customer's car. It truly feels great to help out all of these people who are in need of food and just need some extra help. It's also awesome to meet all of the different people who come from so many different backgrounds. The other volunteers who help out alongside me are also amazing people to be around, and I've always found we have great conversations with each other.
